Tips for leveling in World of Warcraft
55*NOTE*
The following tips are compiled from personal experience as well as from many other WoWers.
They aren't aimed at speed leveling which tends to ignore a lot of aspects that make the game enjoyable.
Please feel free to add any suggestions that other Wowers might find helpful!
Basic Tips
Accept all the quests in your area before you start doing any.
This saves oodles of time since most quests areas and objectives overlap one another.
Don't do one quest at a time.
From a time percepective, if you have three or four quests in one area it only makes sense to finish them all before you start turning them in, and when you do your experience bar will shoot up quick, fast and in a hurry and you'll get that sense of accomplishment.
Grind while you quest.
While you are running from Point A to Point B take advantage of the obstacles in your way. Kill those pesky creatures! This also provides practice for getting a handle on your powers as well as raising your weapon/defense skills.
Make the nearest inn your home.
Use that hearthstone! You can change inns as often as you like so why not stay at the one closest to where you're going to be questing/grinding? That way you can pop in and out when you need supplies or to rest instead of trekking back and forth and wasting time.
Even if your preference is soloing, team up when the situation calls for it.
Though you may have a good handle on your powers and can take out an enemy two+ levels higher than you, you won't be able to take out a mob of them.
